Preamble:

Are you a wordsmith, a phototologist, a video vanguard who can whip up a 60 second reel or a 30 minute artist interview from conception to completion and still want to scale Mount Olympus?

Do you still suffer from delusions of grandeur and envision yourself in an age where you can operate as a lone wolf or in a pack?

Audio Alchemist is hunting for a Digital Content Creator to supercharge our marketing team. Your job would be to excite, ideate, create, edit and package publish-ready content for Audio Alchemist’s online marketing channels inline with brand and business priorities, campaign plans, and messaging.

The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, music, music production, audio engineering and active experience working with digital audio workstations, analog audio hardware and modern recording workflows.

They will also have recent and relevant experience in the rapid development of multi-format rich media content supporting a brand’s online marketing strategy across social media and other digital channels.

We are looking for a flexible yet organized person who can bring their creative expertise to our marketing department and act as our inhouse content creation lead.

Please note, this is a remote contract position. You will need to be fully self-equipped and motivated with the space and necessary tools to perform the daily job duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our team to leverage existing libraries of unused and legacy rich media assets to prepare/refresh select content for structured use in current campaign plan execution.

  • Work from batches of existing product photos, videos and other assets to edit, optimize and rapidly develop content for social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and website applications

  • Work with team to establish pre-production guidelines to execute remote photo and video shoots capturing high resolution stills and clips of audio gear packaging, design, installation, features, functions and controls

  • Perform and capture audio demonstrations of gear in use for specified applications utilizing original and/or licensed audio tracks

  • Use preferred graphics, audio and video editing software applications to process and publish stills, video and audio clips to targeted campaign deliverable formats

  • Combine stills and clips into collections, stories and videos integrating brand assets, motion graphics and text layers as required

  • Label, organize and upload publish-ready content to shared storage for team access

  • Attend weekly update meetings online while proactively updating your activities and project statuses to shared plans and trackers

  • Stay curious, educated and informed about social media channel feature updates, content requirements and audience behaviors in order to collaborate with the team in developing our next bleeding-edge creative ideas supporting campaign plans for the brands.

  • Manage positive and critical feedback on creative ideas and deliverables from various internal stakeholders to ensure products and brands are accurately portrayed

Qualifications:

  • Proven excellence in creating effective and engaging branded content for brands including photo, video, and writing copy

  • Extensive knowledge of video and photo production

  • Expertise with major social platforms- Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok

Education & Skills:

  • Degree in Visual Arts with educational background in photography, videography, editing, and lighting preferred or equivalent experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in video or media production

  • Excellent communication and organization skills with ability to multitask

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow and to work independently.

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Proactivity- identifying opportunities and executing, improving ways of working, establishing processes pursuing maximum efficiency and output

  • Ability to deal effectively with diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

  • Photo and video editing skills

  • General Microsoft/Google Office Suite knowledge

  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills

  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and direct manner.

Compensation:

  • $55K annually paid bi-weekly as W2 not 1099

  • 5 vacation days annually accrued to a maximum of 15 days

  • All 11 federal holidays recognized
